Peruvian Opal & Amethyst Necklace

A beaded amethyst, Peruvian opal, and gold bead necklace. Featuring beads of varying shapes and sizes made from Peruvian opal, faceted amethyst, and gold spacer beads. There are three open circular gold beads, strung with amethysts through the middle. The necklace is fastened with a gold clasp, and can be worn long or wrapped multiple times.
Peruvian opal is an extremely rare variety of opal, only found in the Andes mountains. These opals have a greenish-blue body colour and rarely have the characteristic play of colour usually associated with opals, but they do possess a beautiful iridescence. The colours in this necklace are wonderfully balanced, with the perfect amount of gold pop. A one of a kind, modern necklace.
