Vintage Diamond Five Stone Ring, 1.30cts

An old cut diamond five stone ring. Featuring five, graduated old European cut diamonds, claw set in white gold. The diamonds sit on a decorated yellow gallery, with foliate scrollwork detailing. The details lead down the shoulders of the ring to a polished gold band.
Carved head rings were a staple of Edwardian and Victorian jewellery, with many different stones used in the classic five stone design, all linked by the beautiful detail set under the stones. This ring is a classic diamond version, the old cut stones are beautifully matched with a lovely sparkle.
