An antique aquamarine and pearl pendant. Featuring an openwork yellow gold pendant, set with a central oval cut aquamarine and two pearls. Surrounding the central stones is a frame of yellow gold-work, set with a seed pearl on the top and bottom of the pendant. A seed pearl and aquamarine hang freely from the bottom of the pendant. The pendant hangs from a polished gold bail, and a modern gold chain.

Edwardian jewellery is identified by its delicate use of metal-work, dainty style, and often by the use of seed pearls. It spans from the death of Queen Victoria in 1901 - 1911, under the reign of Edward VII. This pendant is a fine example of Edwardian craftsmanship, and uses highly collectable 15ct gold, which was discontinued in 1932. A perfect piece for any antique jewellery lover.
