Engraved Child Family Coat of Arms Cufflinks
Ref: C7630T
A pair of rounded engraved cufflinks. The cufflinks are engraved with the Child Family Coat of Arms, a shield with a chevron engrailed ermine between three silver eagles. Above this sits a silver eagle holding a snake in its beak. A knight’s helmet sits above the shield, and below, the family motto 'imitari quam invidere' - 'to imitate rather than to envy'.
This family coat of arms can be traced back to the 17th Century, first belonging to Sir Josiah Child, First Baronet and governor of East India Company. The cufflinks have an excellent weight, while the engraving gives the gold a textured appearance and the details have been finely executed. These cufflinks are suitable to wear on any occasion and will add a touch of elegance to any outfit.
Metal: Stamped ‘14ct’ Yellow Gold.
Fittings: Bullet Back.
Dimensions: Measures: 17 x 19 mm.
Please Note: The engraving on these cufflinks can be removed and re-engraved. Please email us for enquiries.
