Ref: C8666T

A diamond, peridot, and pink spinel ring. Featuring a central cushion cut peridot, framed by a pear cut pink spinel both above and below. The spinels are surrounded by a cluster of diamonds, while the peridot has a graduated pair of rose cut diamonds on either shoulder. The ring is finished with diamond set shoulders and a polished doubled white gold band.

This ring is a modern, second hand cocktail ring, echoing the colours of the Suffragette movement. The colours Green, White, and Violet, or occasionally Vermillion as in this ring, represent the Suffragette movement, and stood for Hope, Purity, and Dignity. More importantly, the first letters of each colour, G W and V, stood for ‘Give Women Votes’. During the turn of the 20th Century, women and sympathisers of the Women’s Suffrage Movement would wear these colours to signal one another.

Metal: Stamped ‘750’ 18ct White Gold. Modern UK Hallmarks.

Stones: Peridot: 3.13cts. Pink Spinel: 4.08cts. Diamond: 0.57cts.

UK Ring Size: L 1/2.

Dimensions: Feature: 20 × 33 mm. Band: 4 mm.
