Netted Pearl & Diamond Earrings, 0.80cts

A vintage pair of pearl and diamond earrings. The pearls are set in a twisted gold cage, with three bands across the pearl and two running vertically. These bands gently follow the natural waves of the pearls. The cage is set with six round brilliant cut diamonds, four claw set in platinum, set on the intersection of the bands. The earrings are finished with yellow backs and clip fittings.
These earrings have a beautiful, organic quality to them, and have most likely been handmade around the pearls. The netted, or caged, effect around the pearls echos the sea and sailors nets, giving the earrings a fresh, whimsical property. The earrings are a lovely size, and can easily be worn everyday, or saved for more special occasions. A one of a kind, vintage pair.
