Ruby & Sapphire Crossover Ring

A sapphire and ruby crossover ring. Featuring an oval cut sapphire and an oval cut ruby, each bezel set in yellow gold. The stones sit on either end of a fluted gold band, neatly sitting atop one another. The fluted detailing follows the band around 60% of the ring, and blends into a smooth band.

This pretty ring beautifully blends red ruby with blue sapphire and the rich colour of gold. Crossover rings like this are often known as ‘Toi et Moi’ rings, translating to ‘you and me’. The most famous of which was the engagement ring of Empress Josephine, given to her by Napoleon.
